Having been born and raised on Kauai, Corey Dobashi has been a loving member of Lihue’s community his whole life. He left Kauai to further his education at Lewis & Clark College in Portland, Oregon, and obtained his Bachelor of Arts in communications. Corey chose to return to Hawaii to positively contribute to the community he grew up in, as he always prioritized.
Corey and his wife, Mary, have been raising a blended family of six for over 10 years. To be close to family and great friends is the main reason they chose to raise their family in the islands that shaped, nurtured and fortified their characters. They are actively involved in the upbringing of their two younger kids and keep very strong relationships with their four older children living around the world. They thrive through sharing their wisdom of personal experience and are more than thrilled to have just welcomed their first grandchild.
Corey strives for excellence and camaraderie in his personal life. His care and compassion for his family naturally extends to anyone he interacts with throughout the community. With whomever Corey encounters, personal or professional, he maintains a standard that is genuine and sincere, and he is ready to help in any way he can.
