Caine and Jasmyn Nakata

Caine and Jasmyn Nakata co-founded Milestone Coach Advisory Services, now known as Milestone Wealth Management, in 2010. Their vision was twofold: to help young leaders and families prepare for the potential challenges of paying for higher education, and to educate people of any age.

As president of Milestone Wealth Management, Caine is focused on helping business owners protect their most valuable assets through well-thought-out financial strategies.

A lifelong resident of Hawaii, Caine got his start in the industry in 1998, becoming one of the top producers at Mutual of Omaha and then continuing his success at Bankers Life and Casualty. A former board member of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA), Caine holds life and health insurance licenses in Hawaii. He has been published or quoted in the “Right on the Money” TV series, Honolulu’s “Living 808” on KHON-TV and “On the Money News.”

Jasmyn, who serves as vice president of Milestone Wealth Management, became a licensed insurance professional in 2015.

As a child, Jasmyn was very close to her grandmother, who is of pure Hawaiian descent. Growing up was a bit tough financially — her grandmother raised six children on her own most of her life — and Jasmyn remembers having to be quite resourceful and to do without many simple things, like a warm-water shower in the evenings. Such circumstances taught her the importance of appreciating the many other things she did have and to be grateful for what she and her brothers received throughout their lives.

Jasmyn excelled in sports at Kamehameha High School and was part of the first Interscholastic League of Honolulu water polo and paddling teams. After being the first in her family to graduate from a university, with a bachelor’s degree in psychology, Jasmyn enjoyed helping people in the fitness, education and social services sectors.

Caine and Jasmyn married in 2011 and have a daughter and two sons. Caine spends his free time golfing and traveling, while Jasmyn likes surfing, kayaking, standup paddleboarding and hiking the beautiful Big Island. Both enjoy watching their children improve in Brazilian jiu-jitsu and excel in soccer, baseball and piano.

“I’m able to speak fluently in the Hawaiian language and have a great appreciation for my culture and people. I would like to set a great example for the next generation of Hawaiian women who aspire to be leaders in their community. I want to help them understand that only through our greatest struggles do we grow and find the deepest lessons to continue to press on and endure — for it is our God-given purpose to never give up and to give each day our best effort.”

– Jasmyn Nakata, vice president of Milestone Wealth Management
